I managed to miss the Pride street party because an intense blabbing session with a friend kept us from leaving the apt until after midnight. By then the party had packed up and all had turned pumpkin. I had wistful visions of dancing on the street at 2am in Lavapies and I let my lip do a long pout. Oh well. Fun ends early here unless you want to sweat in a club.
On the fortunate side, I managed to score an awesome view of the fireworks on Saturday:

I missed the parade but managed to catch these snapshots while wandering down Pacific and Bute.
Went for a walk across Burrard Bridge then towards rocky shores in Kits.
Then to Vanier Park. I have often looked at the park from my perch on Sunset Beach and wondered what it'd be like over there. Is the grass greener? No, it isn't but the view sure is pretty.
